It is a 40-minute drive to the San Antonio International Airport and just under an hour from the famous Texas Wine Country surrounding Fredericksburg, Texas. And yes, it is true that this resort was formerly owned by the King of Country Music, George Straight.

Suites at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort have a King bed and a second-floor view of the resort and hill country. They also have a private balcony, a wet bar, and a larger TV compared to the guest rooms.

Spa
The Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort Spa is unfortunately closed following a fire on the property in 2022. We hope they are able to rebuild soon because it was a top-notch spa with an epic salt cave that is worth the visit itself.
