Pools and Lazy River
There are a number of pools to choose from at the Horseshoe Bay Resort that are open late and a heated options as well to keep you swimming year-round.
1. Pools
- Hotel Pool – Heated. Open 6 am – 10 pm weekdays, til 11 pm on Fri-Sat
- Yacht Club Pool on Lake LBJ – Open 9 am – 10 pm weekdays, closes 11 pm Fri-Sat
- Paseo Pool – Open 6 am – 10 pm weekdays, 6 am – 11 pm Fri-Sat
2. Lazy River
There is no lazy river at this resort.
3. Beach Area
Resort guests have access to two beaches on Lake LBJ – Stargazer Beach and Turtle Beach.
4. Slides
There are no water slides at this resort.
5. Lounge Area
There are loungers and covered cabanas around each of the pools.
6. Food/Drink
Enjoy food and drinks poolside from Cafe del Sol (11 am – Sunset), Heron’s Landing Yacht Club Pool Bar (11 am-7 pm), or Yacht Club Beach Bar (11 am – 11 pm).
Child Care

The Jungle Kid’s Club at the Horseshoe Bay Resort is open 9 am – 5 pm weekdays and 9 am- 10 pm Fridays and Saturdays. Kids 12 and under (but fully potty trained) can do arts and crafts or play on a two-store jungle gym or rock wall. Kids’ night out is by reservation only, call 830-598-7852.
2. Shopping.
There is a dollar general about 5 minutes away or a Walmart about 20 minutes away for any baby supplies you forget.
Golf
There are several options for golf courses when staying at The Horseshoe Bay Resort.
1. Slick Rock Golf Course – Open Tues-Sun 7:30 am – close. Par 72, scenic course with a waterfall.
2. Slick Rock Driving Range – Tues – Sun 7- close.
3. Apple Rock Golf Course – Open Fri – Wed 7:30 am – close. Hill country and lake views.
4. Ram Rock Golf Course – Open Thurs-Tues 7:30 – close.
5. Cap Rock Driving Range – Open daily 7 am – close.
6. Whitewater Putting Course – Open Sun- Thurs 9 am-9 pm, Fri-Sat 9 am-10 pm, Tues open at 3 pm, par 72.

This “hill country-inspired” menu offers a mouthwatering breakfast menu and dinner items such as sweet tea brined chicken and brisket pizza. The bar is open til midnight.
2. Yacht Club Dining
Upscale American cuisine on the waterfront, open for lunch and dinner daily.
Dress code enforced for dinner.
3. Y Bar
Upscale bar at the yacht club, dress code enforced.

6. Whitewater 360 Sports Club
Sports bar, Casual setting, Open for lunch and dinner.
Catch the game while enjoying a fancy hot dog or buffalo chicken salad. Just be sure to save room for some pizookie (pizza + cookie). Wash it all down with a beer, wine, or craft cocktail!

Nosh on salad, sandwich, or pizza while sipping on a refreshing frozen drink poolside (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available), or choose from a selection of enticing cocktails… prickly pear sangria? Yes, please.
Accommodations
1. Guest Rooms
The Horseshoe Bay Resort has several options of accommodations. “Tower” rooms are going to be your typical hotel rooms. Options here include king bed or a double room with two queen bed. You can select a pool or a view of Lake LBJ and the Texas hill country with or without a private balcony. Suites are available in the tower with separate sleeping and living areas and include a private balcony as well.
2. Villas
If you are interested in more space than the typical hotel rooms or suites provide, you can book a one, two, or three bedroom villa. The “Palm Villas” also include a kitchen and private patio. This is one of the pet friendly options at the Horseshoe Bay Resort for a $75 fee.
3. Condos
Another option for enjoying the resort is to rent a place at “The Waters Condos”. Available in 1/1, 2/2, 3/2, or 3/3 configurations. You must book through the resort to enjoy the amenities.
4. Private Home Rental
The final way to stay at the Horseshoe Bay resort is to go big and reserve a private home. There are several homes available to rent offering up to 4 bedrooms. This is the other option that is pet friendly ($75 pet fee) and you still have access to all the resort amenities. This would be amazing for a family reunion!
Rollaway beds are available for $20/ day.
5. Pets
Pets are permitted only if you are staying at the Palm Villas or in a private home.
6. Resort Fee
There is a resort fee of $32 per day. It includes self-parking, wifi, pool access, golf practice facilities, golf bag storage, access to private facilities and yacht club beaches on Lake LBJ, and transportation throughout the resort.

Services include: a vast selection of massages including hot stone, salt stone, and prenatal as well as body wraps.
There is a salon as well that can provide cut, color, and special occasion hairstyles as well… even if your special occasion is just that you got a babysitter!
