The Lakeway Resort and Spa is a lakeside hill country resort is located on the banks of Lake Travis in Lakeway, about 20 miles west of downtown Austin. It’s about 40 minutes from the Austin airport but just steps from the Lakeway Marina.

Pools and Lazy Rivers
The Lakeway Resort and Spa has 3 outdoor pools, an adult hot tub, a slide, and a pool volleyball setup available for guests. Pools are open. They are heated to 82 degrees on weekends when the ambient temperature dips below 55 degrees. The pool is open only to guests, wristbands are required.
Pools
Adult Pool – A tiered infinity pools with a swim up bar (18+, 21+ for bar), overlooking Lake Travis. Open 8 am – 11 pm.
Adult Hot Tub (18+) – beautiful views of Lake Travis
Family Pool – Splash pad, slide, and water features with a graded entrance available. Open 8 am – 11 pm.
Courtyard Pool- Family friendly pool with volleyball net
Lazy River
There is not a lazy river at this resort.
Beach Area
There is not a sandy beach area available at this resort.
Water Slides
There is one slide available in the family-friendly pool. Children must be at least 42″ tall to slide.
Lounge Area
Loungers with umbrellas alongside the adult pool and surrounding the family pool.
Food/ Drink

- Sunset Pool Bar with Food and Beverage Service – 11 am – 9 pm daily
Child Care
There is a Kids Zone childcare and play area available at the Lakeway Resort and Spa. Children must be potty-trained and 5+ years old to be left for childcare. Childcare is limited to 2 hours at a time, 4.5 hours max per day, and 12 hours max per week.
Children under 5 are permitted to play in the Kids Zone but must be accompanied by a parent.
Activities include: a bouncy house, arts and crafts, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, basketball arcade games, and a mini putt putt golf course.

Restaurants
1. TR Restaurant Bar and Lounge
American with seasonal menu items overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. Open breakfast, lunch, and dinner with daily happy hour. Has an extensive menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steak. In true Texas fashion, you can order smoked brisket in breakfast tacos, lasagna, or pasta — depending on what time of day you’re dining!
2. The Back Porch Lobby Bar
Drinks (beer, wine, and cocktails) are served while you relax in rocking chairs on a covered balcony overlooking Lake Travis. Great place to enjoy the sunset! There is also a grab-and-go breakfast bar on weekends.
3. Sensory Direct
Basically room service from TR Restaurant with the service and delivery fee included. Late-night pizza til 1 am on weekends.
4. Sunset Pool Bar and Grill
A swim-up bar, poolside bar, and grill open for lunch and dinner daily 11 am- 9 pm.
Accommodations
Guest Rooms
Standard rooms are 350 square feet and configuration choices include: Double Queen, King, or Exective King. The Executive King room has 1 king bed and 1 sleeper sofa. Max occupancy per room including children is 2 for king rooms, 3 for executive king rooms, and 4 for queen rooms.
Each room is available with or without a lake view, a balcony, ADA compliance, or the “Pure Wellness” option. Pure Wellness rooms have fancy tech that supposedly 99% of allergens for only about $10-20 more per night. Environmental allergens in Austin can be no joke and we even have our own “Cedar Season” from November to February so this may be an option worth looking into!
Suites
For families that need a little more space, there are 2 suite options available at The Lakeway Resort.
Mansfield Suite – Largest suite with 1144SF of space that includes a living room with a sleeper sofa, seating area, dining area, extended balcony, wet bar and second bathroom.
LBJ Suite – This suite provides 968SF of space to stretch out in and includes a kitchenette, living room, dining area, and a balcony extending the length of the suite. You can even book an adjoining non-lake view King room.
Bathrooms have a tub with shower combination. There are also roll in shower rooms available. However, these rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway bed.
Amenities
Amenities include the standard coffee maker in the room, hair dryer, and free high speed internet.
Pets
There are pet-friendly rooms available on the first floor. Pets are limited 2 dogs or cats per room and must be under 60 lbs each. There is a $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.
Resort Fee
There is a $37 resort fee per day that includes access to the pools, fitness center, wifi, self-parking, 24/7 hour business center, and local and long distance phone calls.
Spa
The Spa at Lakeway Resort and Spa
Hours: Sun – Thurs 9 am – 5 pm, Fri – Sat 9 am – 7 pm
Services include: Massage (including couples and prenatal), Facials, Body Scrubs/Wraps, Nail Services or combine them all in a 4.5-hour “Spa Journey”.
A dry sauna, Spa terrace, and men’s and women’s lounges are available to spa guests as well.
A 20% gratuity charge is automatically applied, 22% for the Spa Journey
Services can be enjoyed in your room for an additional $30 fee.
